Aurans are a magical race created by Waren, the god of elementals and magic.
They are usually elusive and only rarely leave their homes on the astral
plane, but some old tales say that it was aurans who first taught the arcane
arts to humans. An auran appears as a slightly translucent glowing humanoid
about the size of a human, but it lacks any facial features except for a pair
of blazing eyes. They are able to produce sounds but usually communicate
telepathically.
