The javanri, or javan'ri as their name is sometimes written, are an ancient
and extremely warlike race who were thought to have completely disappeared
after some strange curse befell their lands. It seems that some have survived
and are now returning from wherever they have been. A javanri stands nearly
thirteen feet tall and can weigh as much as seventy stones. Its skin is
completely hairless and some individuals actually have tiny scales visible in
some places, a reminder of their reptilian ancestors. Although their basic
structure is humanoid, they have in fact two torsos, set one on top of the
other, complete with two pairs of arms. The face of a javanri is dominated by
its large round eyes and massive fangs that protrude from its lower jaw. It
is said that they were created by Shar, the god of fire and death, whom they
worship as their supreme god of war.
